WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT

Replacing the windshield on your RV/Motorhome can take 2-4 hours depending on the type of coach you have.  Please make sure we have access to place our vehicle directly in front of your coach.  Also, you may have to verify that your coach is level and the slides pulled in.  Once the windshield has been replaced, do not drive the coach for at least 24 hours.

 POP OUT PROBLEMS

Improper use of leveling jacks is the number one source of windshields pop out problems, but there are other pop out hazards too.  Taking the coach off road is a huge problem because of the uneven terrain bouncing the motorhome  around.  Another issue can be improper cut of the front cap opening that houses the windshield to the coach.  If the cut is too big the windshields can be loose in there gasket.  Finally, an improper glass replacement install can be a cause of pop out problems.  The last glass technician may have forgot to glue the gasket to the body or glue the windshield to the gasket.
